Kidisle Coffee Maker Recall: What Home Brewers Should Check

Source: Daily Coffee News

Official recall: U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

Daily Coffee News reported on a U.S. recall of Kidisle KC101B hot and iced single-serve coffeemakers. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recalled machines can clog during use, allowing hot liquid or steam to build up and release unexpectedly.

The practical part for home coffee drinkers is simple: check the model sticker on the underside of the machine. The recall applies to Kidisle KC101B coffeemakers sold online through Amazon, Walmart and eBay from June 2024 through April 2026. CPSC says about 17,600 units are affected.

If the model matches, stop using it and follow the refund instructions in the official recall. This is not about tuning a recipe or changing grind size; it is a basic equipment-safety check before the next cup.

For everyone else, it is a useful reminder that home coffee gear should be treated like any other kitchen appliance: keep model information, read recall notices when they appear, and do not ignore unusual pressure, steam or leaking.
